We had a total loss of the server. The hosting company we were using aparently went out of business without telling us. We tried to log on one day and the site would not come up, nor would the hosting company's site. A few days later while trying to get ahold of them we found that it was parked.

We are moving the site to a new server. Seeing as how we had to move it anyways, we thought we would make some big changes. We are changing the script that runs the site, and adding a whole lot more items: scripts of course, templates, databases, and ebooks.

Arcade Script

Well, as you can see, we are still not back up and running. Too many things going on all at once, especially customers wanting us to do work lol. However, we did get the arcade script demo back up, and the script updated a bit. The admin section is now password protected for one, and a couple new templates added. Oh, there is a GameFeed mod in the process of being made available to automatically add games from the TalkArcades GameFeed(The mod is written, just waiting to be placed in the feed choices). We have links to the demos for all the templates below, and the script is still available on our sister site Script-Place.com. We have changed the pricing: without games, free for a backlink to us or $10 to remove the backlink, game pack sold seperately. We are about finished packaging up a rather large game pack for the script as well. The one in the store is still available, but the new one has about 6900 games, give or take. We have not set a price on it yet. If interested, please get ahold of us.

One of us got a wild hair up theirs, and charged ahead on adding to our Free basic Arcade Script. It was lite on the server previously, he is adding SQL caching to it as well, to make it even easier. Its not finished yet, and we are not sure when it will be. We may take it a different pricing model as well, such as a manditory contribution to the fund that pays for this server. Its more expensive than cheap shared hosting lol. But if we did that, it would also come with more features as well, such as link management from the admin panel, advertising management from the admin panel, and perhaps even membership. We have passed off a test game pack for Trade Arcade Pro to a tester and are waiting for feedback from them. If you are interested, please do contact us as stated above.

We are still working towards getting the rest of the site back in operation. And we hope to have some more script demos up and running soon, including an avatar site script.

Feeds 2 MySQL

We are pleased to announce that we are now offering a script that takes RSS/XML feeds and inserts them into a MySQL database. This can be useful for those wanting to build such things as a news aggragater, or just gather a list of arcade games. A demo is on our sales site at Feeds2MySQL.com
